When I joined Unified five years ago I was impressed that the Account Management Team easily shared the same client service values that were instilled in me early on in my career. During my senior year of college I had the privilege of working at a local fruit stand, it was here that I learned the value of providing transformational and engaging experiences to your customers. Unified reinforced this value and helped me understand that this holds true regardless of how large or small the product.
Here at Unified we take pride in setting up our clients for success and ultimately assisting them in reaching their various KPIs. Other focus areas include, continuous improvement and flawless execution. As an organization we discuss our four key pillars in every town hall; What is our Mission?, What is our Vision?, What are our Values?, and What is our Focus? We also deeply understand that in the crowded advertising space there is one way to easily set yourself apart from the rest: Outstanding Client Service.
Over the last year, I embarked on a passion project to create and roll out a CREDO for the Account Management team. During our new hire on boarding we take the time to look at industry leaders and the values that they share with their employees to align on vision. The team agreed that we should find a central place to house all of our values and ideals that make us Unified. A panel of a few Account Managers came together with the help of Executive Leadership to determine what defines Our Values, Our People, Our Vision, and Our Clients. This was the beginning of our formal CREDO.
If you are not familiar with the word CREDO - it’s a Latin word meaning “a set of fundamental beliefs or a guiding principle”. This translates to our team’s mission statement. The Unified CREDO guides our team’s behavior and acts as a foundation to remind us why we love to do our jobs.
I’m happy to share with all of you a peek behind the scenes here at Unified and what makes us unique from other partners in the space. I invite you all to take a few minutes to find out what our CREDO is on the Account Management team and the ideals we follow in our day to day:
A few weeks ago, our COO and Co-Founder Josh Backer wrote a blog post titled, The Power of Compound Interest in Company Building. In that post he notes, “The key to success is identifying the key behaviors that lead to your desired results and perform them consistently over time.” And this CREDO does exactly that.
